Brand new month munsters. Brand new show. Different place though. This time its held at Velvet Dragon, Singapore. 4Skins is the highlight brand for this fashion show. So expect loads of glitz and glamour plus ultra cool stuff from one of the pioneer street brands from Singapore. Details for the show can be found here.

Its gonna be a reeeally busy week for us at Skinnymunster. We are in the midst of preparing the new Tank Theory stock for sale on our site PLUS our own brand of Skinnymunster tees that has just arrived..hot off the press! And just for all you Singapore residing-musters, we are gonna celebrate it by collabrating with the cool folks at NBTDClub and Butter Factory by holding a Skinnymunster Fashion Runaway Show! Its this coming Wednesday, the 20th of June and doors will open at 2000hrs. We will be showcasing some of our great new threads plus brands from IGGI'S & MeowMoo for this event. More details of this event can be found here. Of course, there will be goodie bags and prizes to be given away so do come down and join in the fun! See ya all there!

After weeks of debating, bantering and arguing with our fellow munsters, we have finally settled on a winner in our TEE TAGLINE COMPETITION! Our winner is Moider from Singapore with the winning tagline of Spread Music. Moider has received what we have promised. (Cool tee with his own tagline, SKM vouchers, stickers and files). Congrats Moider!

We at at SKINNYMUNSTERS love art and street culture. In fact, one of our aims is also to promote and do collabs with these cool peeps around the globe. You can safely say that our love for searching and discovering plus promoting artists, brands and culture has always been in our blood. Well, during one of our scouring sessions in this big blue marble of ours, we stumbled upon this really nice artist called Phoneticontrol. His projects and art transcends all mediums and is way out of this world. Judging from the pix above, you know he's going places! Love his stuff!

Litestreetwear is a kick-ass tee label all the way from Indonesia (which has a really thriving tshirt scene mind you). With their snazzy and eye-catching designs we were stumped when we first saw it and proceeded to grab some of their stuff from them. A big shout-out to Bobby from Lite for making this happen. Hey munsters, after months of hard work, sweat and toil, our very online magazine is up!! SImply called SKINC, and it covers all aspect of our streetwear culture with specific themes chosen for each issue. Kudos to our superb magazine team which has worked so tirelessly to push this out of the door. Do check it out and let us know what you think about it. We will be doing an official launch of this magazine this 24th Feb at the Singapore Arts Museum in tandem with Beats Society SpeakEasy Event. Will fill you munsters with more details as the date draws nearer.

Happy new year munsters! What a glorious year 2006 have been. But even more glorious things will come in 2007. We can assure you that. First stop. We are finalising our photos for the latest launch of the new Tank Theory collection : Thief Themed Collection. And it looks FABOULOUS! Unlike any tees we have ever seen before. Not only it surpasses our expectations, it blew our munsterish minds away! I don't think pictures do it any justice, no matter how many angles we took! Haha. The look, the feel...everything. Superbo! Ok. We can go on and on so we shall put it up soon and let you munsters decide. Aparts from that, we are also in the process of launching an online magazine somewhere this month. Do check that out too. Something really special and sweet. The mag team has been awfully awesome and we can't wait to show it to the world! So keep your eyes peeled on that. That's about it for now. Check it out Munsters! What you are looking at here is the inevitable T-shirt collaboration that we did with Beats Society last month during their last SpeakEasy event in Singapore. Its A3 size black print on cool 100% cotton white tee. The design was intended to shock and we made only 35 pieces and guess what? All of 'em are freakin' gone! Wait up for our future collab designs with other parties. You are gonna love it. Peace out!

One more month and we are gonna hit the Big 07! Gosh...one year. Just like that. Scary. But its nice to see our skinnymunster site grow from 6 brands to almost 14 now! And since we are on the topic of gaining brands, let me introduce you munsters to two more local brands on Skinnymunster. MeowMoo Clothing and Iggi's Clothing. As always, these brands have made their mark on the local scene and we are more than happy to take them to greater heights using our Skinnymunster platform. Will notify you munsters once we have finalized with their details. Expect samurais scuffling with our munsters this 2007! You will know what im talking about soon. :)

Hahaha..this is one weird happening. Its about a story of a missing Ubiquity Records tee. There was this design which is really nice and we knew that we had brought it from our last shipment. After weeks of searching in our warehouse...we still couldnt find it. But late last nite, we stumbled upon it. It magically or shall we say, mysteriously re-appeared on our inventory shelves!! All 2 pieces of it! Strange but true. Of course if its not for our customers, we could have kept it for ourselves! Anywayz, we have only 2 pieces of this sweet mic design. Perfect for the musically-inclined. As this is just a one off order, do mail us direct if you want it. Only 2 pieces munsters! (S & M size). Pricing stands at US$20. And yes..its still in mint condition. All still wrapped up and sitting pretty here.

Yo yo yo! Do we sound like rappers now? Hah ha. No offence ya. Rappers rawk. We love them. Seriously. And to show our support to our local rapper boyz, we have partner up with Beats Society to drape their cool artistes/rappers with lovely threads from skinnymunster. FreakyZ, one of their artistes, will be performing at the Gwan Ju Youth Music Festival at South Korea..so all the best Freaky Z! A big shout out to those funky trio from Psykelecticz too! Nothing beats seeing you guys wearing our tees and rawking the crowd out. Check out the pix here. :)
